Life before the age of 2

Preston is my soon to be 2 year old. He is full of energy, curious, knows how to get what he wants and acts just like me. Scary thought!!!
He has been told many times not to step foot off our driveway into the road and yet will test me everyday. He likes to toggle with one foot on the driveway and the other on the road and see just how far he can get before getting into trouble. When I get on to him he runs to me and wraps his arms around my legs as if to say "Im sorry"....he then of course goes right back to the toggling.
If I have learned anything over the past 2 years it would be that children are testers, they test your patience, they test their limits, they test their food before spitting it up all over the floor I just spent 45 minutes cleaning, they test their cries to see how fast they can make you jump up and get them, they test until daddy comes home and then for some miraculous reason the testing stops and all is well in the world. I personally think daddy is paying him to test me while he is at work. Who says a stay at home mom doesnt have a real job...their job is to figure out a way to stop the testing during the day and instead test daddy when he gets home.
