This this box at the top of the closet, it was empty. Yes empty nothing in it, not sure why I was keeping it, totally empty. This is what it means to have wasted space.
Here are the items from the bottom only of the closet pulled into the hall.
Here is what I bought at Target from the dollar aisle. Its an over the door shoe storage and over the door rack. Now I have a specific place for it all.
This holds it all including our football pompoms that I found at the bottom of the closet. Normally I wouldn't hold on to pompoms but they are our local school color-my son plays football using these colors-and they werent cheap so yes Im holding on to them. Now my closet is much neater and doesn't have little items everywhere along the top shelf and bottom of the floor. No more digging through everything trying to find gloves or hats, now I can see how much sunscreen I have at the beginning of summer, now its all in one place.Think of how handy this shoe storage could be in your house. In kids rooms you could use it for your kids socks, hairbows, use it in your bathroom closet to store shampoo bottles, soaps, toothpaste, in the playroom store small legos or matchbox cars in it, use it in your craft room for your scissors, pens, glue gun, etc. In the garage to store your hand tools. Ive even seen one of these on the back of a kitchen pantry with boxes of sandwich bags, aluminum foil, clear wrap, and trash bags in the pockets. Thats a great idea and now that Im thinking of it I should of bought more of these.
